Privacy Policy — Dot Clash AI

This Privacy Policy explains how Dot Clash AI ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. We do not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email, or password to play.

1. Information we collect

Gameplay & device data (analytics): via Google Firebase Analytics — app usage, screens viewed, session length, game events, approximate region, device model, OS version, and a randomly generated app-instance identifier. This is pseudonymous and not used to personally identify you.
Crash data: via Firebase Crashlytics — crash logs and device state at the time of a crash, to help us fix bugs.
Advertising data: via Google AdMob — the advertising identifier and related data used to serve and measure ads.
Online multiplayer: if you play online, we create an anonymous Google sign-in and store a temporary room code, your chosen display name, and in-game moves in Firebase to run the match. If you sign in with Google for online, your Google display name and email may be used to identify you to your opponent.

We do not knowingly collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or sensitive personal information.

2. How we use it

To run and improve the game and fix crashes.
To understand how the game is used (analytics).
To show ads that keep the game free.
To enable online multiplayer between players.

3. Third-party services

We use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Realtime Database, Authentication) and Google AdMob. Their handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (Ads → Reset/── advertising ID).

4. Data retention

Analytics and crash data are retained per Firebase defaults. Online match data (room codes, moves) is temporary and cleared after the match ends.

5. Children

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

6. Your choices

Reset or delete your advertising ID in device settings.
Uninstall the App to stop all further data collection.

7. Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account data (your Firebase authentication record, display name, and any leaderboard entries) at any time. Send an email to sandeep.jan19@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data" from the email address linked to your Google sign-in, or include your in-game display name. We will delete the associated data within 30 days.

Coins, XP, and game progress are stored only on your device — uninstalling the App removes them. Online match data (room codes, moves) is temporary and cleared automatically after each match.
